I usually use only a strength, varying degrees of shade and for blending cotton pads or a big brush and by bright shiny spots then an eraser

Only used a 2B and HB on the whole drawing. I sort of got tired on the hair, so not as good as I can do there. But I use a brush to blend my hair.
