Hey there! Just popping in to say hello and explain why I'm here...
I plan on studying graphic design and photography sometime this year or next year. I've got a little bit of experience with creating designs with a computer and have done little bits of work for Sky Sports, mainly logo's for sporting events and the odd event website.
Unfortunately, I have never really been able to or even tried to draw freehand properly. The course requires this to some degree.
Anyway that pretty much sums up why I joined this place.
Any advice or thoughts would be much appreciated, and again, howdy!

Sounds like you've already made a pretty good start.
When you learn the fundamentals first (drawspace is a good place for that), the rest well be a lot easier
You had a good idea to learn both graphic design and photography. A lot of graphic jobs I've done require both.
