Hey there, everyone! Some of you may remember me, I was an active member a couple of years ago. And then I've just stopped drawing and found other hobbies for a few years. One of them is poi - a beautiful performance art. It's hard to explain what it is - you just need to see it. So here are a few example videos -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehDAI_mWHYc ,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZ5UXFRWGeQ. Poi's can be any weight on some cord, or chains. The most popular are fire poi, LED (glow) poi, sock poi (for practice). So that's what I'm learning now. I'm a beginner though. Unfortunately, I don't have any videos of myself now

.
So I've found a site where all the poi'sts gather. And there was a Make a Desktop background related to poi arts competition. So I've thought - I need to participate too! And the prize is US$300! The last two weeks my school was closed due to the flu. I've had a lot of time and I was painting again (I'll scan the paintings later). So I decided to make painting. I've entered the competition and the voting has just begun. And now I need your votes

I always knew that there are a lot nice people, so I thought I'd ask you to help me.
http://www.homeofpoi.com/competition/view_...ries.php/21_489 - you can vote here. Just push the red "Place a vote for this entry" button. You don't need to create an account or anything.
The picture shows a girl spinning green flame poi (there are actually are green flames by the way) in a cave. It originally meant to be made of black ice, but when I've started painting just some rocks came out

. Everything's imaginary, I didn't have any reference photos at all. I actually really enjoyed painting it. And I have more projects waiting

.
I know it's not a very nice way of coming back here, asking to vote for me... But I've actually started painting again for this and yeah - I want to win so bad!
So thank you all very much! And I would be grateful if you could ask your friends or other people to help me too. Thank you again!
