I have been concentrating on shading in my exercises... I figured unless that technique is mastered I'll never get anywhere.

So here are three attempts. All were done with a base of graded crosshatching. The first two I blended further with a tortillon.... but Misha, the girl, is just crosshatching and "squirkling". When I finished it I felt like shouting : "Look mummy, no smudging!" laugh.gif I love how drawing brings out the child in me... I could do it non stop for hours....pity that life gets in the way!!

Great drawings, Rose. You really are getting the hang of that hatching and cross hatching thing wink.gif

Lovely Rose, you're coming along beautifully! I agree that life does get in the way of drawing at times. Sometimes I give in, other times I ignore life and keep drawing. smile.gif
