I was thinking of a couple of options that might be fun...

Sayings: - you pick a common phrase and illustrate it.
examples - "Ive got the world on a string" - "Heart on my sleeve" - "Walking on sunshine" - "Raining Dogs and Cats" - etc...

Create a Character: There was a short lived challenge in DS where we created a character. This would be fun as an ATC. You create a character or a cast of characters, and draw enough cards for the group using the created cast.

i think those are wonderful and original ideas Jazz..perhaps you should like to host one? We would all be there with bells on

hello guys, thought i would bring this back round to the front..with the new trade coming up i thought we could all kind of take a vote on the next one.

I have come up with a really cool trade idea, and i think everyone will enjoy it!

The theme is doors and windows! (or archways)

the 'door' will be like a cover card drawn or handmade, the trade size of 2.5x3.5 would still apply and when you open the 'door' there is a drawing there of your choice..

I was thinking for instance, a stained glass door, could be colored, painted, sketched or even get really creative and use crepe paper for the panes,

Windows same way, they could be colored, painted, sketched, or get creative and use other things for the 'cover' card, and the one we would see thru the window would be the drawing of your choice

lol skunk juice aside, it could be an opening card or it could be two seperate pieces attached..

the door, arch, window (whichever) (cover card) itself would be any approach you like, total artistic freedom, but the card that it opens onto must be hand drawn, painted

Seeing as that guy needs 1 000 000 giraffes, we should have a giraffe trade - if there are about 18 traders (like we've had the last few times) that will be about 289 giraffes for him to add to his 'collection'!!

I agree with the giraffe one that'd be pretty cool. And if you draw even more than one giraffe on one it counts for more.

Well i'm hosting the november trade - so if everyone is keen we can do a giraffe trade - which will make me so happy because they are MY FAVOURITE

and we can help out that guy and like Roxy says - if you do more than one on a card it counts per giraffe!!
