OH! Sorry for the confusion, but my old nickname was like a user name thing and I wanted ppl to see the name I use in real life. hint hint the numbers at the end of my nick is my birthdate!

OK guys, now I am going to update the avatar pic, I have lost almost 50 lbs so I have a new look, and added highlights to my hair!!! Getting pretty to start my new life.

I also changed my name from dolphin-paradise to *Roxy* I wanted people to know my name and I didn't know you could actually change names until Trish did it.

I still have not been able to change the pic where the avatar goes. I have tried, and the pic I want is on my page, but I can't get it to replace the pic that is already there, I don't remember how I got that pic there in the first place!!!! Help!

Nancy...I'm glad for the weight loss, but not how I did it. Believe it our not, I have lost my appetite and have to force myself to eat small amounts throughout the day. This works out for me as I am diabetic, so it keeps the blood sugars more even.

Roxy...I am glad I "lead the way" to changing nicknames.

to change your avatar click on "my controls" top right of yout screen

then down the left hand side of the screen should see edit avatar

should see the setting in there to upload

thanks for the info about changing avatar, however it is not working, I have tried removing the avatar, then uploading the new pic, but it still has not changed in the forums. I wonder what I am doing wrong. I'm laughing about this as I consider myself pretty computer savy. You can see my personal pic on my page here, but dang can't get it to show up on my posts in the forums
