Hi everyone! I'm new here and I thought I'd say hi smile.gif

I didn't really draw at all in my life until about two (or maybe three... I can't remember!) years ago a friend showed me their drawings, and my first thought was "Wow! This is so cool, I want to draw like that too!" So I decided to try to learn by myself, and it went quite well, but I was kind of lazy when it comes to learning to draw, and I wasn't really sure what's the best way to learn. Eventually, a few days ago I came across Drawspace and decided to go through all the lessons. It looks really cool, almost like taking a real drawing class! I'm still near the beginning, but I'm trying very hard not to be lazy and practice at least a little every day. I hope that eventually I'll learn how to draw really well. smile.gif

And since I registered to be able to view the lessons, I thought I'd also introduce myself on the forums. Nice to meet you! smile.gif

Welcome! It's nice you've decided to start the journey of learning to draw. These lessons are an excellent way to begin, I find them fun and helpful. It helps to put all your lesson drawings into a Drawspace album, to motivate yourself and others to continue with more. Hope to see you around, don't be shy! -Mindy

Hi Mindy! Thanks for the welcome smile.gif I've already uploaded one drawing, the one from the horse's head lesson. But it doesn't appear in the gallery, I think I'll need to upload it there separately...

I saw your post in the lesson thread with the horse, but that's just an attachment, it won't show up in the member's gallery. To create your gallery you need to go to "my drawspace" in the upper left corner of screen, click on "manage your albums" and then you can start an album by naming it, describing it, and uploading pictures into it. You can choose to keep the album private or if you make it public then the newest picture will appear in the member's gallery. Some people make more than one album for different mediums like paint, pen, etc. There's also pinned threads here in the welcome thread that describes how you can resize and upload your pictures. Good luck! wink.gif
