I now have no idea on what to draw I have been looking online for an art contest for ideas but can't find one does anybody have any ideas


p.s :I don't do the challenges because they are too advanced

I did then was encouraged to try them ,, ok my work is far from brilliant but by doing the challenges im seeing so many things far quicker than i thought i would

give them a go its a challenge

Slaine gave you good advice. We all had to start somewhere, try one of the challenges, or browse through the image files here in the gallery on this site. You might want to print out an image you would like to draw, and there is no shame in tracing the image then you can add tone and details. Some people have success using the grid method. I am sure there are instructions amongst the lessons here about how to use a grid. Jump in with both feet! You might surprise yourself at what you can do. Good luck on your artistic journey.

The challenges should not be viewed as too advanced ..everyone trys to do their best and its a great way to learn .. people do not critque your work in the challenges .
