Hello everyone. I just stumbled on this great site and was wondering what you would think of this sketch. This is the first drawing I have done in many years but I'm thinking of taking it back up. Any input is much appreciated.

This was done on a sketch diary with heavyweight paper using 2H, 2B, and 8B pencils. The scan looks a bit more coarse than the actual drawing does.

I would post the reference frame, but it is a screen capture from the "Lord of the Rings" movie and I'm not sure if I am allowed to post it here. If It does not break the rules let me know and I'll post it.

Hello Forlindon, I think you catched the essence of Gandalf which is the most important part. Now is your choice to decide if you want to add more details or not. Very nice job, to. Keep it up!
