OK. This one was a little hard for me. I immediately drew a second hand because I wasn't real thrilled with my first one, my second wasn't great either. Oh well, practice, practice, practice......

This was very helpful. I like the idea of the rectangle to set guidelines for the three fingers.

seems hard, but a person like me would not give up easily without practicing, so would try harder for this one.

OK, so I took forever to do this one, since I was completely bored with it, even though I cannot draw hands properly!
Anyhow, some discrepancies... I was checking my hand as I was drawing and I know Brenda said average hand but I saw some differences in mine that I couldn't ignore.
The joints do not necessarily cause curves at the edges of the fingers... sometimes it's a dent, sometimes a curve outwards at the top of the joint. It is an informative lesson, and I am no authority on art. Mine has some mistakes, for instance the ring finger is way too large, but it gave me lots of trouble to get the measurements right in the beginning. Sorry you can't see the joints but that is the light from the scanner.

Loved this one and the previous lesson!
One of my dreams is to be able to draw people very well and to learn how to draw them in a correct way.
Thanks Brenda.
