I loved the class and it really started the new ideas perking. Interestingly, it was the one I was most reluctant to do, the art doll, that inspired me most. I would recommend this class to beginners and to people who have been away from art for a while and need a fun way to 'get their feet wet'.

I started out very enthused about the class but ended feeling very disappointed, in fact I didn't even do the last two assignments. I expected to be getting some kind of artistic feed back from the instructor each week. Linda S

Hey Judith, this is not really contructive feedback in terms of how you can make the class better,- more a good testimony your class works very well as it is.

I was asked to illustrate a book recently and the publisher want very simple lineart-drawings. For some reason they thought I could do that. I was not convinced, but I say yes to the job anyway and begged to whatever higher powers that it would work out somehow. Cartoons has NEVER been my forté, and I was absolutely sure it was gonna be a disaster.

However, the class really helped me opening up and my confidence keeps growing every day as it turns out I actually can do this

Hi Judith

This was definitely very different from anything I'd done before. It was a very free way to do art. I suppose I expected more feedback like I've had with other online courses, but I guess because there was no right or wrong way do do this type of art, you can't really give feedback like that!

I may revisit some of the exercises to try and help me overcome the grief and loss of my beloved cat (he was put to sleep on Friday after suffering from cancer). I'm having a very hard time with all the feelings of guilt and regret etc that follows something like that. I think (hope) your course will help me face up to and hopefully overcome my feelings.
