My first attempt at the grid method and my second attempt at hair

Sllloooow down. Take your time. smile.gif

Only move as fast as you can being very sure of what you're doing.

When I do my grids, I'll often make the eyes, nose, and mouth areas half the size by splitting them with another line vertical and horizontal to give me better control of the tighter areas.

What do you think of the grid method so far?
I should have mentioned, use an HB pencil very lightly on your drawing surface so it'll easily come back up and won't indent the paper. Not sure what you used, it looks like you've gotten the grid back up, but just wanted to throw that in there.

The grid method is pretty cool though it don't help much when you ain't a great artist in the first place. smile.gif But I used a 0.7 mechanical pencil for the lines and a automatic eraser to remove them

oh and p.s. Did you ever post that pic you said you were gonna post for me to draw

Not yet, I have a 1 year old running around and its hard to get more than 1 minute at a time at the computer. smile.gif I'll find a good one that I'll want to draw too. We'll focus on steps which I think will help you take your time and enjoy the actual process a bit more than rushing to the final result. I'll post something as soon as I can. wink.gif
