Sorry Gretchen, I did not receive the list. You did send me an email with Monika's address, although it sounds like she made corrections to it since then. It's no hurry, but please send me the whole list when you get the chance. Are you sending it by DS private message or by email?

This has nothing to do with the trade but, today is the start of the Olympics and I am all excited, we are hosting the winter Olympics and we have no snow for the ski Jumping so they have been very creative in the snow making department. I am going to the Olympic my daughter got ticket to the Curling Game. It's going to be a great couple of weeks

I think I am starting to understand the mind of Picasso - it is a very empty and dark place.

I still haven't received the address list either.

Ive started my cards now I like the first one I did just need to colour that one now.

Thanks I will have to get creative.

I have them all completed now and in plastic sleeves. Now I just have to wait to next week when my pension comes in to be able to buy stamps to post them.

Wonderful! I can't wait for the exchanging to begin. I have 10 or 11 finished, but not happy with all of them, so I'm still trying to do better ones to replace the not-so-great ones. Using pastels on colored cardstock paper, and some with colored pencil on white cardstock paper.

I have mine finished and in the mail, but I forgot to scan they, so I can;t share them with anyone, DARN.

I have mine sketched out and just need to complete them. I agree - Picasso's mind must have a very strange place!!

I drew 3 i'm slow i'll try to draw some more this weekend. Now that my tico exam is over I can breathe more lol I just hope I passed so I don't have to re do it. Some questions were pretty confusing so i'm hoping I passed.

Sue do you have all if the addy's if not I do have your email addy and I can send them to you. Is it still raining a lot there.?

Jacqui, milkquasy's address is right as it is - I was wondering about it too and looked the codes up - it is for Military Personnel serving at bases overseas, I think that code was for Germany??

Gretchen, I got all the addy's except for the last couple - the PM's were down I think - but by double checking who I had against the front page of the forum and checking the number with Jeanne I was on track, and I still have the addresses I need from previous swap. I will hopefully have mine posted next week sometime. Its the week that I start the new job so I am not sure how getting to the Post Office will go, I am not used to working business hours.

Roxy, we may call it something else over here [or I could be a bit dumb ] but what is a tico exam?? Is it a subject or the type of exam??? Whichever though I am sure did well - you are not short in the neuron dept.!!

Sue you probably wouldn't know what Tico is because it's an ontario thing. It stands for Travel industry council of ontario. Its an exam travel agents need to take so were aware of all the rules and regulations of the acts of tico. Tico make consumers aware of the rights when they travel if an airline goes bankrupt they can make a claim on travel services they didnt receive and stuff like that. Really boring to read though lol

That makes sense Roxy, I really didn't think it had anything to do with Tommy Tico - its all that boring dry stuff that makes the most important facts to know when you're out there working.......just wish someone could come up with easy ways to learn ir rather than the hard slog way. I still think you will have aced it though.

Hey guys sorry I haven't been on got a couple of shows coming up and been busy. Got 2 cards today from Frithy and jangra both are colorful and really different. Thanks, haven't started on mine yet but should next week.

They are all so colorful and pretty Lily. I can't wait to see which one comes my way.

Mine all got sent out yesterday. Two are very definitely 'Picasso-ish', but the rest are more Canadian looking. It took a lot of tries, and there were a lot of attempts that made their way to the garbage can, but I think I was actually starting to get it in the end. Hope you like them.

BTW - Great news. I got a real deal on a great drafting table complete with the ruler bar for only $75 yesterday. Do you think it will make me a better artist?

I'm drawing card number 5 right now. None of my cards are coloured just yet. I was doing my cards off of paintings picasso did I hope that's ok? Cause I see everyone is just doing hearts like his style. :S i hope i'm not doing anything wrong.

Thanks for the kind words Debora, 5 cards are base on pacisso style and another 5 are zentangles.I can not remember which one I send it to you.No doubt that you will be better artist.

Oh I'm so jeleous Debora!! lol I want a drafting table so much. Right now my computer desk doubles as my drawing station but sometimes I'm really craving for more space. $75 sounds like an awesome deal, are you getting it a second hand from somebody? I'm thinking to look through some local ads maybe.

I've drawn 8 all from picasso paintings. I really like them I surprise myself. I'll try to finish the other 2 today and start colouring them.
