This morning I shoveled a 1 foot wide path out to the street, turned, and took this photo:

Amazing photo Ernest. When I first saw the thumbnail before I even read the post I thought it was a drawing. I agree with Carol.. this would make an excellent drawing/painting. smile.gif

That's a beautiful photo, Ernest, and I can tell you have a lovely home under all that snow. Up here north of NYC, we've had practically a snow-free winter. The most that has accumulated here was maybe 2 inches. Even when the city and Long Island got hit hard a couple months ago, it passed us by. happy.gif

I spoke too soon with that statement.
We got hit hard with this last snowstorm that came on Thursday. About 3 feet of snow. The electricity went out, and we had to dig our way to the parking lot and spent a while digging our car out (and helping everyone else with theirs) to be able to drive to shelter. We stayed at a friend's house who still had power. Ours stayed out for 2 days. Driving along the roads, there were trees and power lines down everywhere from the weight of the snow.

I'm from sunny Florida, so this was quite an experience! ohmy.gif happy.gif Now the power is back on & everyone is fine.

I'm very grateful that I had my big strong man to dig us out. The little man helped too of course. The littlest man just cried because he wanted so badly to go out & play in all that snow. rolleyes.gif laugh.gif

I'm so sorry, dear. I sure do know how you feel!
kim1963
we got hit two days in a row ..all was doing well then bang snow and alot of it .

Last Thursday we had the biggest snow storm this winter. We got about 8 inches of snow at once. It finally felt and looked like winter wonderland but now it's all melting. This winter is weird.
