Hi Fellas,

Ich registered on this site a couple of days ago and i didnt really take part in this Community thing so far, just wanted to learn to draw nicely. So far for the background.
Today i just got an private Message from a user named: "Dersterman",http://dev.drawspace.com/forums/index.php?showuser=292208
concering some viruses activities on this site. I kinda believe that this is a fake message because on the one hand, how should he know that? And on the other hand is he a user, who just joined today...

So could someone please tell me weather this is true or not. Currently i just started my anti-virus-program, just to be sure, you never kow, right?...

Admins, please help! wacko.gif

I there might be some grammatical mistakes i appologise but i do not speak english as my mothertongue...

I can't find any such account; either you haven't spelled the name correctly or (and this is quite possible) it's already been deleted. Please let us know if that's the exact spelling of the user's name. Thanks for your help!

Hello

Deleted Member Hello, today, 04:21PM

Guests Hello, friend. There are viruses' activities from your computer in the last few days. Strongly recommend you to scan your computer. You can find a report about your computer's security and solve every problem with it here: http://www.total-scan.net/detected/Nerine
Thank you. Forum member.

Thats it. The mail disturbs my Internet connection so I'm positive something is wrong with it.
Point is the sender probably reads allong with us so who knows what other staps he/she wil take to infect us all.
Please give us some advise.

I can't stand evil people like that trying to infect other people's computer that is also another reason I use linux no anti-virus needed.

I agree with you Jonathon but I think if we all stept over to Linux we had the same problem there.
I tried to step over long ago but my navigation programs don't run on it which was the reason Linux couldn't survive although it regretted me.
It's fantastic that during the time we are playing around Drawspace is so alert to notice this critter and ban it.
I'm also very grateful to Alex for making this topic. I was searching for where and how to report that mail and I hadn't found out yet what to do.
I'm glad its over. I threw that mail away and my virus scan made a deep scan and didn't find any viruses. Let's hope it stays that way.

It's time to enjoy ourselves again.
Creative regards to you all arts.gif

Hi there,

Ok it seems like this guy (or maybe a girl?) has been deleted by now. Does that happens often? I mean such sort of spammails.

My anti-virus-program couldnt find any viruses and i hope that this wont happen again, or ill need a new heart. cool.gif laugh.gif

Over the last few days, it's been happening a lot; they're all running the same phishing scam. The site admins will have soon worked out a way to stop it, I'm sure.

mh, I think the administrators are doing a good job here;

but they do it in their spare time and this time should not only Drawspace but also the family and friends be dedicated!

Conclusion: the administrators handle these problems already soon - stays calm wink.gif
