This if my first serious attempt at drawing an eye. It was from one of the lessons on this site. Next up, is one of my daughter's eyes from a photograph.

Be gentle. smile.gif

You've done a wonderful job on this Matt for a first eye! You have the curvature of the eyeball in place and the proportion looks fine.

My only suggestion would be to increase the values of everything. The pupil should be the darkest value - black, except for the catchlights. Don't be afraid of the dark. smile.gif

Thanks islander. As I said, it's a work in progress. I spent a lot of time getting the proportions correct. I hope to finish it today.

Thanks again,
Matt

Here's try number two. Whipped this one up this evening. smile.gif

Islander, I tried to go darker. My camera is not the best way to get these into the computer. I have 3 dslrs and a point and shoot but no scanner. hahaha It blurred just a hair. sad.gif

Thanks for the feedback guys,
Matt

These are all very good drawings. Eyes and hands are both tricky for me.

I think you have captured the eyes very nicely.
