This is an idea inspired by Paulette on another thread. I thought it would be fun while we wait for the Portrait class to commence... it might sharpen our eyes before we sharpen our pencils! .. and I don't really think it should get us into any trouble.

So let's play a game of guess who. We'll each post a sketch portrait of a celebrity - not a lot of detail required... and the rest are to guess who we mean.

Good idea Rose, but I'm hopeless as I don't know any celebrities. I don't follow films or royalty or even watch tv much. I'm sure others will be able to join in here and guess or contribute.

When I finished the sketch I showed it to my husband. He had no problem recognizing Michael Douglas, but he said he could only tell Zeta Jones by the cleavage! Silly man!

BTW - Douglas's is the quickest mouth I ever drew - honestly it's no more than a slit! This was my reference.

My husband and I recognized Michael Douglas right away but it took us two hours to come up with a name! For all I suggested this, I am terrible at celebrity recognition. Here is my set I did the other night.[attachmentid=1660]

Don't feel bad, I can't either. And I know who I drew . My goal is to practice enough so you could tell just by looking.

I think its a great idea .. cause some people are easy to draw and others like John here .. he has a funny smile .. and it just never looks right . lol
