My name is Toni, and I have been drawing since I was 5!

I'm 18, and I'm a digital+traditional artist.

I like to read, write and draw/paint in my free time.

Aside from art, music is my life, and I couldn't live without it.

I'm more into digital art than traditional, but I get discouraged from posting my digital drawings because on other websites, people always say I'm using filters, when I aren't. I use a reference picture, and that is all. Each of my digi-paintings take at least 3 days. I work very hard on them, and then when people call them fake I get really upset and don't draw for days.

But it seems very friendly here, so I hope I get better feeback for you people, and I hope I can get to know most of you!
I hope to learn lots here!

Arguments about what's real and what's fake can get ugly, for sure. It's very easy to produce something that looks like it might be art, but is really just computation. This is a single GIMP filter (the "Cubism" one) applied to a photo I found on the net; takes just a minute to do:

The best way to combat accusations of "fake art" is to show work-in-progress; a few progress images, or a short video, will put any such rumors to rest!
