Hi most of you know me

I am Kim and I will be hosting this weeks challenge ,
All levels are welcome and encouraged ..anything from a quick sketch to a detailed drawing is excepted ..any medium ..watercolor ( My favorite but I am not very good at ) colored pencil ..graphit ect.
Most of all have fun and try to learn something new
my images are :
My moms dog Max
Marble ..Duh !
Statue of Christ my dad took many years ago
A resort a friend stayed at ..wouldnt that be a great view !
Ernest House and yes I got his ok
A little artist ...that is me as a child .
and a Squirle another old photo my dad took .

Hi Kim, these look really good. Nice variety. There is a couple here I wouldn't mind trying. I'll see if I can get them (or at least one) done before the last day this time

Well I had to try this one ....its ok but I did not spend alot of time on it and should have .

Well.. Last week was sort of crazy so I didn't participate in a challenge. This week I'm definitely in.
Great photos Kim. I'm not sure what I'll be tackling this week yet, but I would love to do a couple of drawings this time.

I really ought to get back into doing these challenges...so depending on what happens within the next day or so and I stop feeling all ill I'll be back

By the way I love that marble pic you did Kim, what media did you do it in; out of curiousity

Here's my version of Max. I used my Derwent Tinted Charcoals on cartridge paper. Measures abut 8 x 8 ins

I wasn't surprised at all Norma !! great tinted Charcoal drawing !! he looks like he is in a wind storm .. Just the cutest little pup !!

Don't know why you had to put such great pictures up when I already have a full schedule for the week.....I may just stretch it out a month..already started the dog, gotta try the marble in cp , and the squirrel is cute (but they are on my enemy list for home invasion)...etc. It does look like a fun week , everyone is jumping on these.

Ive got a really quick question before i start doing the weekly challenge. Can i put my own style into the picture or do have to just draw the picture as is.

Max is a really small dog with a big personality lol he is a tea cup long hair chiuaua..no clue how to spell that and no bigger then a kids shoe ...he is really cute and everyone has done a beautiful job ...my mom loved these drawings and would like to print them off and frame them in a cameo frame .

I've tried the young Kim with graphites on cartridge paper - about 8 x 10 ins. You haven't changed a bit - apart from the glasses!

You spell it like this Chihuahua I didnt know how to spell it before and I always have to pronounce it like Chi Hua Hua lol

this is my drawing of the statue. I should use a scanner, my camera can't focus on the entire page and that makes some parts of the drawing look faint...

Hi Kim~ I love your pics for this week. I am going to attempt you as a little girl. It's funny, I started it and then when I wanted to post which I would be trying I wanted to find the little girls name. That is a great photo of you and I hope I can do it some justice.
