Hi Jonathon, It looks like a good start but if I may add a couple of words of advice. Firstly as you can probably see for yourself your proportions are a bit out, especailly the eyes and mouth area. When using the grid method, do not rely to heavily on it. Still try to use your own judgement on what looks right. Or you could try using a smaller grid, either way it is good to try and learn to see what is wrong with your proportions and say to yourself "now I know this looks wrong but how can I correct it". A good trick is to turn your picture upside down, that way brain see it a new light.
