I received a note from Marilyn that's she's been extremely swamped. So she's okay, just having a hard time getting caught up.

I too received a Card from Marilyn..
Marion Anderson in Ink and Watercolor. So special .
Marilyn and this goes out to anyone involved in these trades.. Sometimes we can not control the way life interferes with our hopes and plans .. and I certainly do not want this trade on my part to be an extra burden .. They should be fun and with good intentions even if they get interrupted as it did with you and Donna.. No card is worth the stress.. Take care of you and your family and don't worry that I will hold that against you.. Also Marilyn please never feel intimidated .. everyone has a style that is unique and I treasure them all. So thrilled you found your watercolors but I suppose the loss created a new challenge for you with the colored pencils.. All things happen for a reason ?
Take care Marilyn , thank you for all you do and best wishes .. I love your card ..

I got a beautiful card from Marilyn today and it is of herself at 9yo, learning the Flute.
I learnt the flute for while too Marilyn. My recorder teacher in school had been 1st Flautist in the Sydney Symphony Orchestra when he was a younger man. Unfortunately my family wasn't able to send me to flute class once he left

It's not too late Bigs, find a local community band association they usually have ways to get involved.
(of course I highly recommend music as a hobby and social outlet!)

A nice lot of instruments there Marisa, and so many traditional, isn't it nice to see many instruments that aren't the run of the mill ? Even the instruments that I knew so well I got a knew twist on them, like the jazz horn etc. WOnderful trade and glad you lie all your cards.
