Hello yall, sorry it has been a while, between my back injury and working on my masters degree i have not had much time. Spring break is finally here and i started my new project-building a .54 cal flintlock muzzleloading rifle. I carved out the stock yesterday from a plank of curly maple and i noticed i have some space on the butt stock where i would like to carve some C-scrolls. However i do not have a pattern, or cannot find one that i like. Most c-scroll styles will fit the time era that im am looking for anyway since they are all based on the traditional design. If any of you have a location for some patterns, i would appreciate some help. This rifle means alot to me, and i want it to be fancy! i know some of these designs are found in paintings and drawings, so i thought this would be the place to start
