I know this isn't art related but has anyone else noticed an upsurge in spam in the tech support forums?

Yes and other areas too. Maybe something needs updating?

Not just increased spamming but I also noticed a lot of new names being added that have obscene user names. There are children who frequent the site and it's just not cool to let someone join who has a user name that is nasty or obscene. Can't that be regulated?

Argh!! We'd better clean up our act... they are all over the place now... a full blown invasion!

This place has suddenly turned into spam central. There's so many popping up that it's almost pointless to report them all. You report one, the next day there are suddenly twenty more.

I wonder how they are getting names on here, does that mean that when you sign up for membership that no views your information and its all computerized? Maybe they need Techs who actually review membership to become a member of drawspace or atleast make it more complicated for people to join that way someone can't just sign up to post spam.

I know the website is being revamped and I hope that an increased security feature will be included to help avoid things like this.

Meanwhile I'll just keep cleaning them out.

some of them are explicitly obscene even in the thread title. I think a automatic filter is due.

Now we're getting the webcam nitwits. Yeah I'm getting really sick and tired of this nonsense too.
