Hello, everyone. I'm Kush, which is based on my surname, Kuschert. My first name is Donelle. I live in Brisbane, Australia, and I love to draw. Don't we all?

I used to draw to express myself as a young girl. I took some painting lessons before I had children, and thoroughly enjoyed them. I learnt to paint in oils, and I have a few of the paintings I created when I took my lessons, still. My mother-in-law proudly displays one of my paintings in her home, so how's that for support! Sadly, my art teacher gave up teaching, to return to work. My attempts at painting since then are more like giant messes on canvas, but now that I have two of children at school, I hope to back into it.

May I say, I think that you are one of the friendliest groups of people hanging out on the internet!

I look forward to learning how to use our scanner, because I hope to have something to post to a gallery soon.

Welcome to drawspace. I'm hosting a drawing challenge this week. It is for challenging yourself not against others. I might be a good way to get your feet wet. Here is a link. drawing challenge jan. 21-28 It is open to all levels of artists. If your scanner isn't up yet I use my digital camera to take pictures of my drawings.
