This is really useless, nice to feel warm and fuzzy with positive thoughts and all, but for those of us actually trying to learn actual techniques and methods to real artwork this is a waste of time.

I would put this one in the beginner category. Not much new for the intermediate artist, IE: "The farther away objects and people are, the smaller they appear to be".
Pictures and examples would give this text-only article more value.
Handy referance for beginners tho.

No pictures? Drawing lessons should always have drawing samples! It's a visual art form. Too much text!

ive been drawing for some time now (like a year of two

)
and ive been using some of these things to
but some hints are kinda weird . . .
like in the Protecting your drawings part
the most are true but its kinda overreacted (sry for bad spelling

)
It sounded like the pictrue could burst into flames in a sec by just laying on your desk

Great Lesson.
Alot of good "refresher" tips as some have said. And its perfect for beginners.
I wouldve liked some visual examples though, especially when talking about composition.

It was good to read the many grateful comments. The few who revealed their knowledge is total and they have no need for wisdom don't matter.
Drawspace is a wonderful website and everything done here is welcome and enriching to life.
That so many commented on 101 tips makes me think they must have been augmented not so long ago and this old man wants to let everyone know that each is valuable and the collection well worth re-visiting from time to time to make sure you continue to know all there is to know in this life.

This is awesome information that will help create drawings of the town in my book. Where I grew up, that so many people treasure memories of. Thanks for your help. You know how to teach to relate to what we feel.
