My name is Brian and I live in the Poconos, Pennsylvania. I will be 18 years old next month, and I am a beginner at drawing. I am a graphic / web designer, and own my own site. I wanted to expand my creativity by learning to draw. So far in the past 2 days I have seen my skills expand . I don't have any of those fancy drawing pencils yet, but for now I am stick with a #2 pencil .


I am going to college this fall for Marketing in Business. I guess this should be sufficient info for my introduction. Any questions feel free.

welcome Brian. Come join our challenges and feel free to post your art in the gallery. Your #2 pencil is fine and you can draw lots of great stuff with it if you love sketching and drawing.

Hi brian. I am also new to drawing. I would just urge you to keep at it even when it can seem frustrating. If you would like to expand your drawing I would sugest to get one of those drawing kits you see at craft stores. I got one and it is neat to experiment with the different kinds of pencils. Even just getting a 2B, HB, and 2H would be nice. But i have no clue what on earth these stand for.
