I guess that very useful would be a lesson on buildings, which means perspective, eventually buildings on a street or any lesson related to architecture, space, perspective, the horizon line, etc.

I would like to see more perspective lessons!!!!! I love drawing in perspective, or trying to LOL, but it does not love me!!!!! LOL

Back in august last year, I did some posts on perspective:

first, some definitions of the basic terms and concepts:

http://www.drawspace.com/forums/index.php?...ost&p=41727

http://www.drawspace.com/forums/index.php?...ost&p=41731

then a couple of demos:

http://www.drawspace.com/forums/index.php?...ost&p=41785

http://www.drawspace.com/forums/index.php?...ost&p=41820

The first demo is on general 2-point perspective.

The second is a projective perspective technique, and demonstrates how to use it to draw an accurate polygonal box - it can be used to turn any sort of architectural plan into a perspective drawing.

Yes, Dave, thanks, but to transalte polygons into architecture requires a mature mind in technical drawing and art in general. I meant lessons for beginner and intermediate levels.
I think that i had an atempt at this sibject when I chose a street in the North beach area odf san Francisco for reference in my first challenge. At the time I had no clue how to approach such a subject and still i find it difficult. A lesson would take me through the process in a more didactic way and make me understand how to address this perspective drawing.

Sigh - what is needed is to read the two posts I've already pointed you to. They TELL you exactly how to go about it. That's why I wrote them. Why do you always turn up your nose at everything I offer here? Its really quite insulting.

The second one is more advanced, its true, but the first one explains how to do two-point perspective. I'm not sure how one could make it any clearer, frankly, I've even provided animated illustrations, you just have to take your time watching them and reading it through, its dense but concise. With the second, its possible to draw just about anything. Its all about just taking it slowly, step by step.

If you post something as a perspective project/example to work on, I'd be quite happy to try to help. Its probably better to demonstrate how to deal with a real project.

Maybe this site may be of help.

I think these illustrations are excellent! Well done Dave.
