In this lesson, you use one point perspective to render nine boxes from three different perspectives, into a single drawing.

I'm an art teacher, and would have loved to review these lessons for possible assignment to my students as basic learning aides, but your control issues don't match with my needs, so I will be un-joining your forum. Thanks, but no thanks, for now. Should you ever decide that more flexibility and generosity would result in wider exposure and use, I would reconsider readily.

I love this lesson, because it´s a key for complicated drawings of cities and skylines...respect !

Ok, now put it to practical use. Join the Drawing Challenge and show us what you learned by drawing the Grain Elevator.

Even if you do just the triangles, squares and cylinders, that is an attempt at showing us you learned something.

This is the easiest perspective class I've ever taken. I found it very simple to understand. I wished I had this tutorial when I was in the Academy of Art! JanJan

Wow. I've been wrestling with the precision of this simple concept for 3 months using 2 other books on drawing. In less then 10 minutes I now have an exact grasp of the subtle line angle variations of the horizontal lines.
Thank you Brenda.

Chere Brenda
Thank you for your help

I'm understanding perspective better now. My overlapping is a little off on this lesson but pretty good drawing overall.

I have a paragraph actually just one line with specific spacing above and below. I want to copy the format, including the space above and below the paragraph, to other paragraphs.
How can I do this?
Using the transfer format mouse tool seems to only transfer the font characteristics.
Thanks,
Jerry
