I would really love so see some lessons on drawing faces of people of different heritages. As a caucasian female, I find that when I teach my (elementary-aged) students to draw portraits, my directions almost invariably -- although unintentionally -- result in student work that appears caucasian -- and female. Clearly there are biological differences in bone structure, etc., but I have been at a loss as how to describe those differences and teach how to draw them. Any advice on where I could find some help?

Daisy, I know you posted this a while ago, but you should check out ehow.com. I had wanted to learn to do the same thing, and there are two EXCELLENT videos. First, look up DRAW ASIAN FEATURES. It should be the first video that pops up. By J. French... I think. Anyway, he is EXCELLENT at explaining, and he also has a video on African features too!
