Irish Water Spaniel

If for one moment I had considered the amount of work involved in the drawing of the Irish Water Spaniel I would NOT have started it. But what actually happened is that I took an overview and noticed, for example, the big curved highlight in the ear to the left of the eye (I drew a light 2B line around that area to remind me of its position)...... Then I drew a single ringlet - and then another...
