Hi Monica!

This assignment is very well done. I am seeing quite a bit of improvement! Good job!

I'm going to take your drawings into Photoshop and look for skills you still need to practice. You are getting there, Monica - slowly but surely! Remember; strengthening your visual intelligence will enhance your ability to enjoy the world around you for the rest of your life. Baby steps!!!! :o)

There's an old joke: How do you eat an elephant?

The answer is: One bite at a time!

Well drawing is not so different. Rather than focus on all these letters (a whole elephant), please focus on only three (three bites).

Please focus on trying to get the spaces in between the outlines of each of only three shapes to be consistent in width and height first of all. Please see attached image and work on only these three letters. Practice them several times until your proportions are as close as is possible. Then upload your very best version of these three letters for me to see! :o)

By the way, until you can measure distances visually, please feel free to use a ruler to measure distances (not to draw straight lines though). At this stage of learning, using a ruler to measure distances is not cheating! :o)
